EDGE FINISHING
The edge profile determines how thick a surface reads and how safe it is in daily use. We produce seven standard profiles; bespoke shapes can be made to a sample.

STRAIGHT EDGE
A classic 90° cut with the sharp arris eased. The most restrained profile, suited to minimalist spaces.

HALF BULLNOSE
The top arris is rounded while the bottom stays square. It softens a sharp form and is safer in a home with children.

FULL BULLNOSE
The edge is worked into a full half-round. A clean, timeless look that makes the slab read as thinner.

CHISELED EDGE
A hand-chiselled, irregular edge. The effect of split natural stone — no two slabs come out alike.

WATERFALL EDGE
The surface drops 90° to the floor with the veining continuing down the side. A dramatic solution for islands; it must be cut from one block.
- 45°

MITRED 45°
Two slabs cut at 45° and bonded — the joint is effectively invisible. This is how a thick-edge look is achieved with a thin slab.

OGEE
An S-shaped double curve. The most decorative profile — for classical and formal spaces.
